On My WayI couldn't bear to know what they were saying about me, but I did. They didn't even bother to wait when I wasn't there to shoot comments such as fat and chubby to their adjacent desks. I could hear them. I could hear them in the hall as I stumbled to the bathroom, although they were not there. I could hear them, laughing as I cried in a stall. Still, they were not there. That school day dragged along, as it usually did, until I was in my room, playing with small plastic Barbies.
